Both my boys will be graduating high school the end of June, thank Goddess Mike went back for his 2 credits! Very proud of him for doing this I know it wasn't easy for him. Joey really graduated (well had all his credits) in February but continued with 2nd semester and will graduate with his friends. I am one of the proudest Mom's on the block!!
The strangest thing I have heard of is the 'Victory Lap' since they got rid of Grade 13 a couple of years ago, high school kids have been going back for a year AFTER graduation to take courses they feel they will need for college. I remember graduating and NOT wanting to ever step foot inside my highschool EVER again!! LOL kids today are strange! I thought it was just mine, however I have heard from other parents their kids are doing it as well, so I guess it is just the thing to do now.
So many plans coming up, I start my new position and hours at work tomorrow!! Next Sunday Fran and I are taking the boys and their girl friends to the Mandarin for lunch and Mom and Dad are coming too. Then there is camping 2 weeks after that, then 2 Grads at the end of the month then the following week off to Indianna to see my BFF!! SHIT NEED TO DO MY PASSPORT!!!!
I am currently stitching on one of my models it is called The Triple Goddess and so far it isn't much of anything lol but it will be and I will frame it next to the 2nd model called The Horned God, still needing to be started LOL
Well if you are in Canada, enjoy the last day of the Long Weekend, don't drink and drive etc etc
