"Ostara also known as the spring equinox, Rites of Spring and Eostra's Day marks the first day of true spring.  The energies of nature subtly shift from the sluggishness of winter to the exuberant expansion of spring.  The Goddess blankets the earth with fertility (thank you Goddess for my hysterectomy), bursting forth from her sleep, as the God stretches and grows to maturity.  He walks the greening fields and delights in the abundance of nature.
On Ostara the hours of the day and night are equal.  Light is overtaking darkness; the Goddess and God impel the wild creatures of the earth to reproduce.
This is a time of beginnings of action of planting spells for future gains and of tending ritual gardens."

February 2nd! Happy Imbolc! Let Spring START NOW!!!!!!

I have my own little bonfire (9 tealights) burning lol even burnt my thumb! 

I am working on a series of designs to correspond to the turning of the Wheel.

We are getting some huge snowstorm they are calling the worst storm in years due to the massive size of it.  They are calling for 12" or more by morning however we will see.

Stay safe and warm my friends, where ever you are...

A little Ostara for my friends!  Enjoy the awakening of Mother Earth and the warmer weather!

This morning as I sit here, I can hear the birds chirping and it is a delightful sound!  So soothing and warm feeling. 

May the God & Goddess bless and keep you all in thier loving arms as the weather gets warmer, the new baby animals are born and as you celebrate on this wonderful weekend!

I, on the other hand, will be working however I plan on taking my camera out on Monday and shooting some pictures of Spring Life here in the smelly city!

March 1st Oh Spring I can feel you!

I felt the need for some spring today!  These go back 4 years, but SPRING is COMING!!!
