The joy I find in the Elements

Wicca has 5 elements, Air which is the East direction, Fire which is South, Water which is West, Earth that is North and Spirit which is Center.
This happy blog is going to show pictures that I have found on the web for each element.  Pictures that really say it for me how I feel about each one.
Air
Spring Awakening Goddess
The Maiden
Fire
Summer Goddess with the Fire like hair
Mother
Water
Autumn comes the Crone
Earth
Dark Goddess

This Dark Goddess is Hecate
Spirit
Spirit is All the Goddesses

Triple Goddess, Maiden, Mother and Crone
The stages of Life

Beautiful Banner with all the Elements represented.
I hope you have enjoyed my versions of the elements, they are truly a vision and everyone sees them differently with their own views, paths and eyes.
Blessed Be!

A Blessed Samhain/Halloween to All!

This is the first Samhain that I have had to work since finding my spiritual calling and I am very sad and disappointed, but at least I have a job!
May you all remember those in your life that have passed onto their next life, think about the past year and keep close to your heart the things you want to do differently in this next turn of the wheel and if your little one's are trick or treating, keep them safe and warm!

Domestic Day

I decided that a good start to the harvest season was to start to clean up around here. I ended up with a blue box full of plastic, paper box 3/4 full, started to go through my cross stitch patterns and have a HUGE pile of 'Will Never Stitch' and will make a blog to sell or trade them off, and I am sending a bunch to my cross stitch group for prizes and such.
It was such a good feeling I even got a really good start at rearranging my room so I can have an altar area and meditation spot!

I really feel like I accomplished so much today and I am worn out for sure!

Blessings to you all!!

Life lesson

This is maybe the last post I will be making for a while, I have learned a great deal of things getting this off track. None of them good!
Well as of Monday July 13th, 2009 I will no longer have the Internet/Phone or cable TV and by the end of the month, unless something changes I will no longer have the car on the road and will have to put Sherry Senicar Designs on HOLD because I can no longer afford to fill or send orders to Hoffman's and that, well I am not going there right now.
If any of my FRIENDS want to communicate with me, we will have to go "old school" and use the actual mail carriers, hey helps keep their jobs right!
Here is my snail mail address and feel free to give it to my friends looking to send me a Hello, I will miss you all so very much and will with so much saddness in my heart.

use my sherrysenicardesigns@gmail.com or my sherrystitching@yahoo.ca those I maybe able to check from a library or something.

May Goddess bless and keep each one of you in her arms, out of harms way and that you only know love and beauty.

Hopefully after the Pneumonia is gone I can find a good job or 2 jobs and get things back on the correct path.
I am grateful I still have a home and hopefully a gracious Landlord.

Day 1 of Training

I went to bed last night asking Goddess to give me some kind of sign that I should actually take this job and dreamed of happiness and success.
I think that was my answer lol
It was wonderful putting myself in the God and Goddess' hands and finding the answer because today wasn't as bad as I thought it would be and I had a good day.

Monday/Altar Cloth

I wonder if summer is going to even show up this year? It seems more like spring everyday, chilly and wet.
Yesterday Fran and I went for a walk in Oakville down by the water and then went to Shell Park where they had a really cool looking skate park. There were kids of all ages there on skates, skateboards, bike and other really neat looking things. They were doing tricks and stuff it was really interesting to watch.
Then I came home and cleaned my room, which it needed and I feel so much better that it is almost done. Today will be spent making it just right. What I didn't say is my room is a big room and is also half my craft room so it is a lot of work!! However I am getting it done and that makes me feel really good. I slept like a log, as I had stripped my bed, put on the clean sheets and then took the blankets down to the laundry and washed them so they were also nice and clean, note to self - when you have money that doesn't need to go to bills, buy new blankets.
I am starting on one of my own designs today, it is a Wiccan Altar cloth with an Elemental prayer on it, I am really excited about this design. I wish there was a distributor for Wiccan/Pagan cross stitch patterns I have so many great designs but no one to distribute them sigh!
Well, time for a tea and then onto the room again.
Have a great Monday Everyone!!
Bright Blessings to you all!!!!

Washcloth

Well I decided to try something smaller since I was making so many errors on a simple shawl and so I stitched up a washcloth from my Crafting the Craft Group. I am thinking of stitching a few and making myself a meditation pad.

Needing a Camera

I wish I had a camera!
My son Mike's mother in-law didn't know my camera was in Steph's purse and threw it into the livingroom and my camera broke. They say they are buying me a new one, but haven't.

My son Joey came home from school yesterday with 2 plaques from last year when he was in grade 10. The first is for getting honor roll marks in math, not just math but college level math!!!
The 2nd was with a cheque for $100.00 from the Home Builder's Association for honor roll marks in his construction classes. He also received a pin saying he was an honor roll student!! I am so very proud of him and his acheivements!

I need to take pictures of him with his plaques, I need updated pictures of the baby with and without his parents and I need to take pictures of a bunch of cross stitch I have completed in the last few months. Oh well, looks like I will be buying a new one, myself.

Next weekend is Halloween or in my religion, Samhain! It is a time to remember all those who have gone to the Summerland before us and to celebrate and honor the dead.
I have started to pickup items for my altar, some fall flowers, apples, pomagranate, special candles and oils and I am going to be celebrating the loss of my Grandmothers, a Grandfather, a niece my Uncle George and Uncle Don along with rememberances for Murphy (my dog), Buddy and Torrie (my cats) that have past. There are friends that have past in my life and will light a candle for them as well on this glorious weekend of celebration.

Having a camera would be nice so I can post pictures of my altar with all the wonderful decorations and adornments.
The single most important thread in this blog seems to be a camera
